Tomoki Nojiri

Tomoki Nojiri attended racing kart school since he was young, and debuted in the All Japan Karting Championship in 2003. In 2006 he became the FA class champion, and in 2007, moved to Europe to race in the European championship, the Italian Masters, and World Cup KF1.
In 2008 Nojiri graduated Suzuka Circuit Racing School Formula as the top of his class, earning a scholarship. 2009 saw him finish fifth in Formula Challenge Japan (FCJ) and fifth in the Japan Formula 4 - West series. In 2010, Nojiri was fifth in FCJ.
In 2011, Nojiri raced in the Japanese Formula 3 National (N) class, completing the season second overall. Moving up to the Japanese Formula 3 Championship the following year, he finished fourth. In 2014, Nojiri joined DOCOMO TEAM DANDELION RACING, completing his SUPER FORMULA debut season in tenth. He also debuted in SUPER GT GT300 class racing, and was tenth overall with a third place finish in Round 2.
In 2015, Nojiri moved up to the GT500 class. Two years later, he was ranked ninth with two pole positions and a first win for the NSX-GT at Round 5, Fuji. In 2018 he was joined by Takuya Izawa who moved from Team Kunimitsu, and won Round 3, Suzuka, and the championship-deciding final round, Motegi. They finished the season third overall.
Continuing his partnership with Izawa in 2019, they finished fourth in the GT500 class. Nojiri also switched to TEAM MUGEN in SUPER FORMULA this year, also fourth overall. In 2020, Nojiri teamed up with Nirei Fukuzumi in SUPER GT, completing the season fifth. He was also fifth in SUPER FORMULA.
2021 sees Nojiri continue his partnership with Fukuzumi in SUPER GT, and in SUPER FORMULA, he welcomes Hiroki Otsu as his TEAM MUGEN teammate. He won the championship in Super Formula in an impressive performance.
In 2022, he won back-to-back Super Formula championships, and in SUPER GT, he took one win but finished 12th overall. In Super Formula in 2023, he took three wins despite being sidelined due to injury, and fought for the title right up to the final round, but regrettably finished third in the rankings.
