After testing several setups and various new components from HRC, Frenchman Johann Zarco acknowledged finding some positives and feeling better than expected. Following three days of intensive work with his crew, he believes that small improvements collectively have helped him take a step forward and narrow the gap to the fastest riders on the timesheets. The upcoming Buriram test will be crucial for Zarco and his team in determining which components will be homologated.
Somkiat Chantra completes the Sepang Test with interesting improvements
IDEMITSU Honda LCR rider Somkiat Chantra concluded the Sepang Test in 19th place, making steady progress throughout the sessions.
The Thai rider completed three days of testing at the Sepang International Circuit, showing consistent improvement as he continues to adapt to his bike and the category. Over the course of the test, he evaluated various components provided by HRC, refining his performance and making gradual advancements.
The upcoming test in Buriram will be a crucial opportunity for him and the team to fine-tune the optimal setup that best complements his riding style.
We can take this test as a positive result, better than I expected. Today's performance was really strong, and it's great for my confidence to be closing the gap to the top riders. Over the past few days, we've tried many things, and today we put them all together, which worked out well. I'm really happy about that. These small adjustments have made a difference, I feel now I can control better the bike.

These three days have been positive. I’m feeling better with the bike each day. The new parts were helpful, and the long run we did in the afternoon was quite good. I want to thank the team for their hard work; we’ll keep pushing to improve at the Buriram test before the first race.
