Zarco finishes the Sprint in Barcelona
Circuit de Barcelona-CatalunyaCASTROL Honda LCR rider Johann Zarco has finished 11th on Saturday’s Sprint at the Circuit of Barcelona-Catalunya.
Starting from the 12th spot on the grid, Frenchman Zarco faced the last Sprint of the 2024 season in Barcelona. After a solid weekend, the rider was committed to fighting for the points, and so did he until the last inch of the Sprint.
Despite being unable to reach them, the rider admits feeling significantly better on the bike, a clear sign of his progress, and sees the top 10 as a reasonable goal ahead of tomorrow’s race.
Nakagami completes his last Sprint in Barcelona
IDEMITSU Honda LCR rider Takaaki Nakagami has crossed the line 17th on Saturday’s Sprint at the Circuit of Barcelona-Catalunya.
Japanese Nakagami and the crew have experienced a demanding Sprint on Catalan soil. The rider admitted feeling vibrations that prevented him from pushing and fighting for the points. After having gathered useful information, Nakagami is now focused on enjoying his last race as a MotoGP rider and making the most of it with the team.
