Tough Sunday in Mugello for Johann Zarco
CASTROL Honda LCR rider Johann Zarco finished 19th on Sunday at the Circuit of Mugello.

After some positive adjustments in the morning warm-up, Johann Zarco struggled at the beginning of the Sunday race when trying to fight for the points.
Setting a decent pace and recovering positions, he had some difficulties with tire wear at the last stages of the 23-lap race. Ultimately, he cleverly handled the situation to avoid mistakes and crossed the line 19th.
IDEMITSU Honda LCR rider Takaaki Nakagami crashed on Sunday's race at Mugello.
Despite a promising start to the race, Nakagami's attempt to regain positions and fight for points led to a crash. Fortunately, the Japanese rider didn't suffer any consequences and is all set for Monday's upcoming test at the Circuit of Mugello.

I wanted to fight and get to the points, but it was hard. The positive is that I had a good pace. We still have some limitations that we cannot overcome. Tomorrow’s test will be important to determine how to improve this situation.

Today's conditions were slightly different, and it was more challenging. I felt comfortable on the bike during the first laps, but things got complicated. I crashed at turn 12; I lost the front while braking. Let's see how tomorrow's test goes.
