Busy Friday for Nakagami and Zarco in Jerez

The Japanese finished the sessions as the first Honda bike on the timesheets. Still struggling in some areas and gathering information for improvement, Nakagami has taken a step forward on a track he likes, on which he's shown impressive performance historically. Today's practice information will help him and the technicians modify some areas to keep pushing and recovering the differences.

CASTROL Honda LCR rider Johann Zarco has finished 18th on Friday at Jerez.

Not even a crash in the morning prevented Johann from performing solidly on Friday in Jerez. Still facing difficulties aboard his Honda, Frenchman Zarco got closer to the top 10 in the afternoon and took a step forward. Considering the current situation, the rider and the crew are making the most to keep pushing and fighting.

I’m happy with today’s performance despite our difficulties. Our plan was to get to the 1’36, and we did it in the afternoon. Although there is still work to do, we are taking small steps, and that’s the most important. We are never giving up!

I had a good lap time today. I missed my last lap, but we worked well overall. After the crash, I understood some things, and we improved in the afternoon. From the last race to this weekend, we’ve confirmed some ideas, and this is positive, as it gives me a better feeling on the track.
