Tough Sprint for Nakagami in Valencia

At the Ricardo Tormo Circuit, Nakagami finished the Sprint after some difficulties. The rider felt better in the morning than in the afternoon, as he found the bike unstable and admitted to lacking edge grip. The Japanese couldn’t push the way he expected and finally crossed the line 16th.

LCR Honda CASTROL rider Alex Rins has finished 19th on Saturday’s Sprint in Valencia.

Rins has managed to finish the Sprint in front of the Spanish crowd. He did a solid first part of the race and had a good pace, but some issues with the bike setup prevented him from getting a better result. The Spaniard has pushed and fought against rivals to end his last Sprint with LCR, and he's crossed the line 19th.

I didn’t have the feeling during the Sprint; it was difficult to overtake and set a decent pace to fight for better positions. We want to finish the season scoring some points, so let’s keep working and see what we can do tomorrow.

I felt good during the first part of the Sprint, but the second was hard and besides, I had pain. After today’s Sprint, we’ll try to take a step ahead of tomorrow’s race, as it will be my last one with LCR, and I want to enjoy it as much as possible.
