The Japanese rider started the early morning session occupying the Top 10 positions, finished 11th in the FP1, and, alongside the crew, found some improvements. In the afternoon, when pushing to go straight to Q2, they canceled his two fast lap times due to a yellow flag on track after another rider's crash. Despite the position, the pace and the feedback after the sessions are solid, and the team is ready to take another step to be prepared for tomorrow's Sprint.

I'm happy with my feeling with the bike's front end; we've improved the balance. We are good in terms of pace, but I didn't feel good with the medium tyre compound and couldn't nail the time attack. The plan is to take a step forward because, during the morning, we've seen some positives.
