After carrying out a strong start on today’s Sprint, Spaniard Lecuona pushed and fought for the Top 10 against rivals. However, as the laps went by he started to struggle with the front end of the bike and finally crossed the line 16th.

LCR Honda IDEMITSU rider Takaaki Nakagami crashed on Saturday's Sprint in Austria.

Nakagami lost control of the bike while turning, and to avoid the rider he had in front, he blocked the front end and finished on the gravel. It was a huge impact, but luckily, he's fine. The rider is now resting to be ready for tomorrow's race.

I did a good start; I overtook several riders, and I felt good during the first laps of the Sprint. I felt fast, but then we started to have some problems with the front end, which made me lose positions. We'll try to do better tomorrow!
