Challenging race at the Silverstone
Silverstone CircuitLCR Honda IDEMITSU rider Takaaki Nakagami has finished 16th at the Silverstone after the 20-laps-race.
Takaaki Nakagami had recovered some positions when the weather conditions changed, and they declared a wet race. The Japanese entered the pits, swapped bikes, and despite trying to push, he finally crossed the line 16th, almost getting to the points.
LCR Honda CASTROL replacement rider Iker Lecuona has finished 17th at the Silverstone after the 20-laps-race.
A flag-to-flag race due to rain conditions in the second part made things difficult for Iker, who was doing a solid job trying to push and overtake rivals before swapping bikes. The Spaniard has helped the team this weekend while replacing Alex Rins and has given beneficial inputs to keep developing the bike.
I am quite disappointed after the race's outcome because we are working hard to recover from this situation, which is difficult. I tried my best, and at least I understood during the race, with this package, which are the differences from the beginning to the last laps.
