IDEMITSU ASIA TALENT CUP

Launched in 2014, the Idemitsu Asia Talent Cup is a premier motorcycle racing competition that discovers and develops young riders from across Asia and Oceania. Organised by Dorna and overseen by renowned talent scout Alberto Puig, the ATC is a key stepping stone into the world of international road racing.

HOW TO BECOME AN ASIA TALENT CUP RIDER?

Each season, 20 riders are selected to compete. Some will return from the previous year, while new talents will be added through the annual Selection Event, held this year at Sepang International Circuit (Malaysia) on October 21–22, 2025. To take part, riders must apply online. Around 100 applicants will be invited to the event by the Selection Committee.

ABOUT THE CHAMPIONSHIP

The 2025 season consists of 12 races held at 6 events. 5 of them, as a support category to MotoGP™ in Thailand, Qatar, Indonesia, Japan & Malaysia. The organisation provides all riders with Honda NSF250R Moto3 bikes and full racing equipment. Moreover, riders are being guided by Alberto Puig as well as being trained how to set up the bike by our experienced technical crew. The organisation also takes care of all logistics, set up and medical insurance as well as accommodation and on-site transportation at all events. Riders only cover costs for flight tickets (also booked by the organisation) and food.
