Tsuchihashi finishes P8 in Race 2 at Circuit Paul Ricard
On Saturday 10 October 2026, Race 2 of Round 6, the final round of the French F4 Championship, was held at Circuit Paul Ricard from 5:00 p.m. Kota Tsuchihashi, who competes in the series as part of the Honda Formula Dream Project (HFDP), finished eighth to claim a points finish.

Race 2: P10 on the grid → P8
Race 2 was held with a reverse grid for the top 10 qualifiers, meaning Tsuchihashi, who had qualified on pole, started from tenth on the grid. On the opening lap, fierce battles for position unfolded among the frontrunners, with two cars making contact and one coming to a stop. Tsuchihashi avoided the chaos and moved up to seventh before the Safety Car (SC) was deployed.
When racing resumed on Lap 4, Tsuchihashi dropped to ninth. On the following lap, another collision occurred further back in the field, triggering a second SC period. Racing resumed on Lap 8, and Tsuchihashi moved up to eighth. The cars running from sixth to eighth remained closely bunched for the remainder of the race, which ended on Lap 12. Tsuchihashi took the chequered flag in eighth place.
