Tsuchihashi claims second pole-to-win in Round 5 Race 3
On Sunday 20 September, Race 3 of Round 5 of the French F4 Championship was held at Circuit de Lédenon from 9:35 am, with Kota Tsuchihashi competing as part of the Honda Formula Dream Project (HFDP).

Race 3: Pole position to victory
Tsuchihashi started from pole position and maintained the lead through the opening lap, despite significant changes in the order behind him. He then came under pressure from the driver in second place but continued to hold the lead. An incident on Lap 4 brought out the Safety Car.
The race resumed on Lap 9 with around 15 minutes remaining, and Tsuchihashi retained the lead. Although the second-placed driver remained within one second for several laps, Tsuchihashi extended the gap to more than a second by Lap 15.
A second Safety Car was deployed with around three minutes remaining, before the race restarted with one lap to go. Tsuchihashi once again held the lead and completed the 18-lap race in first place, securing his second pole-to-win victory of the weekend following his Race 1 triumph.
Tsuchihashi scored a total of 57 points over Round 5, moving up to third place in the championship standings.
The sixth and final round of the 2026 French F4 Championship will take place at Circuit Paul Ricard from Friday 9 to Sunday 11 October.
