Tsuchihashi charges from P10 to finish sixth in Race 2

Race 2: 10th on the grid to 6th place

The starting grid for Race 2 was determined by reversing the top 10 from qualifying. As a result, Kota Tsuchihashi, who had qualified fastest, started from 10th on the grid.

After one of the cars ahead pitted on the opening lap, Tsuchihashi moved up to ninth. He then overtook another car on Lap 3 to take eighth place before moving into seventh on Lap 5, gaining three positions in the early stages of the race.

A Safety Car was deployed on Lap 10 and remained on track until the race resumed on Lap 17, with around three minutes remaining. Despite the limited time left, Tsuchihashi gained another position on the restart lap to move into sixth.

He maintained that position to the chequered flag at the end of the 19-lap race, finishing sixth.
