Race 1: P28 → Retired

The opening race of the Dijon round began at 10:20am on 16 May in dry conditions. Tsuchihashi started from 28th on the grid in the 32-car field. Making a strong start, he overtook several cars on the opening lap to move up to 21st. However, while battling for further positions at Turn 1 on lap three, he made contact with the car ahead and ran off the circuit. His car became stranded in the gravel, and he was unable to rejoin the race, resulting in a retirement from Race 1.
