John McPhee 5

John McPhee is a Scottish motorcycle racer who has competed in multiple road racing championships, including Moto 2 & Moto3 World Championship, the British Superbikes Championship, World Supersport Championship and also FIM Endurance World Championship.

John McPhee

John McPhee made his Grand Prix debut in 2012, entering three rounds Moto3 championship as a wildcard rider for Racing Steps Foundation KRP Honda and then replacing the injured Alexis Masbou in the final five races of the season. His performance in these races was enough to secure him a full time ride for the 2013 season.

The Scottish rider would then make the Moto3 championship his home, competing with various teams throughout the seasons - with a brief stint in Moto2 in 2021 when he rode in the place of Jake Dixon at the Aragon round. After hitting the age limit in Moto3, McPhee made the move to the World Supersport Championship in 2023, which began with a podium in his maiden race at Phillip Island.

Last year McPhee rode in the British Superbike Championship and took part in a number of EWC races, the learnings from which he will be able to take into the 2026 season as he joins F.C.C. TSR Honda France as a full time rider.
