Moving up to MotoGP in 2017, Zarco made an impressive debut with Monster Yamaha Tech3, securing three podiums and two pole positions. Despite challenges, including a mid-contract departure from Red Bull KTM Factory Racing in 2019, Zarco continued to showcase his talent with various teams, including LCR Honda Idemitsu and Reale Avintia Racing.

In 2020, Zarco performed well with Ducati and Esponsorama Racing, earning a podium in the Czech GP before joining Pramac Racing for 2021. Despite arm pump issues hindering his performance, he secured a fifth-place finish in the standings.

Remaining with Pramac in 2022, Zarco continued his pursuit of a premier class victory, securing four podiums and two poles. His perseverance paid off in 2023 when he clinched his first win at Phillip Island, ending his streak as the rider with the most poles and podiums without a premier class victory.

In 2024, Zarco joined CASTROL Honda LCR, eager to embark on a new challenge in Grand Prix motorcycle racing and build upon his impressive legacy in the sport.

Team HRC, which won its second consecutive Suzuka 8 Hours in 2023, will once again line up as Honda’s factory team with a factory bike based on the CBR1000RR-R FIREBLADE SP. This year Zarco will join the team to compete in his very first Suzuka 8 Hours.

Zarco will be joined by 2022/2023 champion Takumi Takahashi (age 34, Saitama) and Team HRC newcomer, Teppei Nagoe (age 26, Tokyo).
