Team HRC with Japan Post comfortably leads the Suzuka 8 Hours at the halfway point
After 4 hours of the Suzuka 8 Hours race, Team HRC with Japan Post continues to control the race with a gap of 1:21.322 ahead of the second-placed team.
On lap 90, when Takahashi took the saddle of the Honda CBR1000RR-R SP #30 from Nagoe, the Japanese rider widened the gap difference to 33.914 seconds, improving his time to 2:07.966
Takahashi continued to lead the race, completing 109 laps before entering the pits to hand over the bike to Zarco.
SDG Team HARC-PRO.Honda maintains fifth place at the halfway point and Honda.Dream RT SAKURAI HONDA has climbed to ninth place.
F.C.C. TSR Honda France was in ninth place after three and a half hours but Josh Hook had a crash in turn 9. Luckily the Aussie managed to rejoin the race in 14th place, finishing his stint as the team focus on the remaining four hours.
