Repsol Honda HRC cap weekend at Anglesey in style

Repsol Honda HRC concluded the fourth round of the TrialGP World Championship with a Sunday one-two in Anglesey, as Toni Bou completed a rout of four wins in four races and Gabriel Marcelli finished second overall.
Bou set the pace from the start, looking very comfortable on sections that presented an even greater level of difficulty on Sunday, as the entire field had more reference points. Riding with precision and consistency, Bou completed the first lap with just 13 penalty points; this score allowed him to claim the first victory of the day and continue his extraordinary form.
During the second lap, several riders were separated by a slim points margin. However, the reigning World Champion once again pulled off the win. Delivering a flawless performance, the Montesa Cota 4RT rider secured another victory in Race 2, also topping the combined standings for the day. He continues to lead the TrialGP World Championship with 310 points, 80 clear of his nearest rival.
The second day marked a significant turnaround for Marcelli. Without the rain that had complicated matters on Saturday, he regained his confidence from the very first zone. Steady throughout the first lap, he remained in contention for the top spots, ultimately finishing second in Race 1.
In the second race, the Repsol Honda HRC rider maintained the same competitive pace. Marcelli battled for the top positions throughout; after a solid showing, he eventually came home in third place. His consistency across both races earned him second on the podium in the combined standings. The Spaniard holds third place in the TrialGP series with 229 points, just one point behind Jaime Busto in second.
Following the British round, the World Championship now heads into the summer break -before returning to action from August 29th-31st in Cahors, France.
