The day began with 'Race 1', where Miquel Gelabert showed good pace right from the start. The Honda Montesa rider cleared the first section confidently, though several consecutive errors in the following sections caused him to drop back from the leaders. Despite finding his rhythm again in the middle part of the course, with several cleans, a fiasco on Zone 9 and another in the final section prevented him from contending for a podium spot. Gelabert finished the first race in sixth place with 30 penalty points.

In the 'Super Pole', he clocked a time of 0:22.10, meaning the RTL Electric rider would start third in the day's final race.

In 'Race 2', the Honda Montesa rider stepped up and showed greater consistency across the sections. Gelabert began the second run with an error on Zone 2, but managed to recover, completing much of the course with a low amount of penalty points. The RTL Electric rider maintained a solid pace until the end, but two fiascos on Zones 10 and 12 stopped him from a podium challenge, and he finished the second race in fifth place. Following the results of both races, the RTL Electric rider finished Sunday in sixth place and holds fifth position in the World Championship standings with a total of 185 points.

This race marks the conclusion of the first half of the 2026 TrialGP season. The Honda Montesa team will return to action in a month’s time, from August 29th–31st, in the French town of Cahors.
