Moving on from the round in Cahors, Honda Montesa head to Zelhem in the Netherlands this weekend, where the sixth and penultimate round of the 2026 TrialGP season will take place. The RTL Electric bike faces a new challenge at a crucial point in the championship, with Miquel Gelabert currently fifth overall with 210 points.
Cahors left a positive impression for the Honda Montesa rider, especially in the second half of the day. After finishing sixth in Race 1, Gelabert responded with a solid showing in Race 2, where he remained in contention for the top positions and finished third with 19 penalty points. The results of both races gave him a combined fifth place and allowed him to maintain his position in the overall standings.
With five rounds of experience under their belts this season, the team continue to develop the RTL Electric and are working to gain consistency against the top contenders in the class. In Zelhem, Gelabert will try to build on the momentum from the last race and stay in contention for podium positions.
Unlike the single-day format in Cahors, Zelhem will be a two-day competition. The action begins on Friday with technical and administrative checks, practice sessions, and a visit to the sections. The two days of racing will take place on Saturday and Sunday, making this a key round in the final stretch of the season.
