Full haul of wins for Bou in Portugal
The Montesa Cota 4RT rider takes four wins in Round 2 of the TrialGP World Championship. Gabriel Marcelli places fourth.

Repsol Honda concluded the second round of the 2025 season in Viana do Castelo on Sunday. Toni Bou dominated the day with two wins. Gabriel Marcelli improved on the previous day’s results and took fourth place.
With the sections completely dry and the previous day’s experience, all the participants improved their level on Sunday. Bou, who didn’t get off to a great start, stringing together a pair of fives, drew on his experience and avoided taking too many risks, which put him at the top of the standings after Zone 12. This result won him the first race and gave him 20 points for the overall standings.
In Race 2, the sections remained extremely difficult, as it was the fourth time the riders had gone through them. With four riders fighting for the win, the 37-time World Champion ultimately prevailed over his rivals with a strong performance, earning him his fourth triumph of the season despite accruing six penalty points. Bou took four wins from four in Portugal, and was the overall winner of the day and of Round 2.
Marcelli also had his best performance on the second day of competition in Viana do Castelo. The Galician rider, who had a difficult Saturday, managed to turn things around completely and fought for victory from the opening sections, leading for much of the first race. With the points very close, the Montesa Cota 4RT rider finished in third place, earning 15 points overall.
Marcelli continued to work hard in Race 2, making few mistakes in the second race. The Repsol Honda HRC rider battled alongside Jaime Busto, Matteo Grattarola, and Toni Bou for the second win of the day, but ultimately fell just short of the podium, just three points behind third. With this result, Marcelli took fourth place overall.
Bou took 40 more points to his tally in the standings, placing him in the lead with 160 points. Marcelli earned 28 points on Sunday, including the Power Section, which keeps him in third place in the championship. The next round of the TrialGP World Championship will be held from May 16-18th in Motegi, Japan.

I'm very happy with the weekend. We got almost every point possible. It was a shame that we didn't take all the points in the Power Section, but the overall result is very positive. The weekend was very complete, and I was very consistent with four wins. I want to thank the team, because they were fantastic. Now I'm looking forward to the team's home race in Japan, which is very important for us. We have several days to prepare, try to be in our best shape and achieve good results.

The weekend didn't go completely well. Yesterday we had mechanical problems and that affected me a lot. Today I started at the front of the race, and although I felt good, things didn't quite come together. In the second race, I didn't do badly, and despite making a serious mistake in Section 2, I ended up tied with the third-place finisher and eventually finished fourth. That's racing: There are good weekends and bad ones. Now we have to think about the next round and give our all.

Overall, the weekend's results were positive. Toni won both races again, staying ahead of his rivals. We really enjoyed his riding today. As for Gabri, he made progress compared to yesterday, where he had several issues that prevented him from achieving good results. Today, he just missed out on the podium, but he maintained a good level, fighting at the top of the standings. We're focused on Japan now, where we hope to achieve good results. It's a very special TrialGP for the team.
