British TrialGP provides new challenge for Repsol Honda HRC
AngleseyToni Bou arrives in Great Britain as the TrialGP World Championship leader, while Gabriel Marcelli will look to defend his second position.
The fourth round of the 2026 TrialGP World Championship season takes place at one of the most iconic locations for outdoor competition. Anglesey in England will host the event, and the Repsol Honda HRC riders occupy the top two positions in the overall standings coming into the weekend. Toni Bou leads the way with 240 points, while Gabriel Marcelli is second with 174.
Bou has had a perfect start to the season, with a clean sweep of victories so far. The Montesa Cota 4RT rider has demonstrated great consistency amidst the new competition format and arrives in Anglesey with a 66-point advantage over his teammate. The Repsol Honda HRC rider's objective will be to maintain this run, extend his lead, and head into the summer break with another positive result.
Marcelli arrives in the UK after several weeks focused on recovering from a fracture to his left little finger, sustained during the TrialGP round in Italy. Despite the discomfort, he has since competed in the double-header of the Spanish Championship in Pobladura de las Regueras, where he secured two second-place finishes and remained in contention for the title. He will try to fight for victory once again in the UK, and consolidate his second position in the standings.
The weekend's action will begin on Friday with technical and administrative checks, a visit to the sections, and the Super Test. The competition will take place over Saturday and Sunday.

I'm still experiencing some discomfort in my finger, but it's healing well. I've been able to train again and I'm gradually regaining my feel on the bike. The two second-place finishes in the Spanish Championship gave me confidence because, despite the difficulties, I was able to score a good amount of points. I know it will be a tough trial for me and that I'm not arriving in my best condition, but the goal is to keep scoring as many points as possible and stay in contention for the title."
