Bou dominates in Italy and Marcelli makes stunning comeback
Repsol Honda HRC end the third round of the season with another victory for Bou and Marcelli on the podium.

The second and final day of the TrialGP of Italy, held in Camerino, delivered excellent results for Repsol Honda HRC. Toni Bou and Gabriel Marcelli secured another victory and a second-place finish, respectively.
Toni Bou dominated the day. In the first race, the Repsol Honda HRC rider made it to Zone 5 without incurring any penalty points, and only made one significant mistake -on Zone 10. He led the way from the start and secured another victory. Later, in the Super Pole, Bou again set the fastest time.
In Race 2, Bou delivered a flawless performance. Throughout the first five sections, he battled for the win against his teammate. Finally, in the closing stages, despite incurring eight penalty points, he claimed another win. He thus extends his advantage in the World Championship.
Marcelli had a challenging day on Saturday, and on Sunday a mistake in the first zone caused him some discomfort that affected the rest of his race. Despite these difficulties, Marcelli never stopped fighting and battled through each section until taking sixth place.
In the second race, however, the Repsol Honda HRC rider showcased his best form. Despite the pain, Marcelli staged a remarkable comeback and even led the standings after completing the first five zones. In the decisive section of the course, he kept the pressure on Bou and fought for the win, ultimately achieving a brilliant second place.
Repsol Honda HRC lead the World Championship with Toni Bou at the top of the standings with 240 points, while Gabriel Marcelli remains second with 170. The next challenge for the TrialGP riders will come from July 24-26th in the United Kingdom, the venue for the fourth round of the 2026 season.

"I'm really happy with today's result. Since we changed bikes in Andorra, I feel much more comfortable riding. I want to thank the team because we've worked hard this winter to find this feeling, and everything is working really well. There's still more than half the season to go, and this is just getting started. We've accumulated a good number of points in the championship, so we can't ask for more."

"It was a positive result today, despite the problems at the start. I had a pretty bad crash at Zone 1, right at the beginning of the first lap. I hurt my hand, but despite that, I managed to pull through, although it was a tough day. On the second lap, we opted for a different strategy. I felt much better, and I was able to dig deep, which earned me second place overall. Thanks to the team for their support and their incredible work."

"We're very happy with today's result. Toni Bou is incredible; he's won all six races, and the gap he's building is significant. As for Gabri, he had a tough start today because he crashed and hurt himself on the first lap. But he kept fighting, and for the second lap, he changed his mindset. He gave it his all, chasing the win and proving to himself that, despite the pain, he could do it. He finished second, and we're very proud. Now we'll focus on the next race."
