The security of all participants is always a priority to all motorsports organiser and in this point for sure ASO is no exception. Today difficult weather conditions did not allow the take-off of medical rescue helicopter: visibility was short and besides all efforts of the pilots it was not possible to fly and meet the participants at the start of stage 2. The consequence was the cancelation of the stage and the safe return of all to the base.
Tomorrow’s special stage 3 will leave the Gran Dos Hermanas Racecourse bivouac in the direction of Huelva, with 295 kilometres to race and 140 km of liaison. The fast tracks and very meticulous navigation will continue on the horizon, with some hope of not much dust after such heavy showers in the area. This “menu” fits well the profile of Frenchman Adrien Van Beveren from the Monster Energy Honda Team, who is the current leader.
