Consistent race for Nakagami at the Circuit of Barcelona-Catalunya
IDEMITSU Honda LCR rider Takaaki Nakagami ended up 14th on Sunday at the Circuit of Barcelona-Catalunya.

Approaching the 24-lap race with a strategic mindset, the Japanese rider Nakagami was committed to managing tire wear for a strong finish. His careful study of the situation allowed him to climb from 20th to 14th place, earning valuable points for the championship and crossing the line as the leading Honda in the classification.
CASTROL Honda LCR rider Johann Zarco finished 16th on Sunday at the Circuit of Barcelona-Catalunya.
After a difficult start to the race, Frenchman Zarco tried to squeeze his package and fought for the points against his rivals. However, despite trying hard until the last inch of the last lap, a lack of feeling when trying to control the medium tyre prevented him from pushing and getting to his goal, and he crossed the line 16th.

It’s been a long and tough race, but we’ve managed to get to the points and finished as the first Honda in the final standings. We now head to Mugello with a clearer idea to keep improving and developing the bike.

It’s been a difficult race. I wanted to push, but we had some limitations, and to avoid mistakes, I couldn’t do more. We are confident about the next race and test at Mugello, as we’d like to take a step and fight for better positions.
