Nakagami Finishes the Sprint in Malaysia
LCR Honda IDEMITSU rider Takaaki Nakagami finished 19th on Saturday's Sprint in Malaysia.

While struggling with the bike's front end and trying to push on an unsuitable track for the Honda bikes, Nakagami carried out a solid race despite the position. He's finished as the first Honda in the classification and has gathered valuable information to improve ahead of tomorrow's race.
LCR Honda CASTROL replacement rider Iker Lecuona has crossed the line 20th on Saturday’s Sprint at the Sepang International Circuit.
On a historically unsuitable track for the Honda bikes, Iker Lecuona finished Saturday’s Sprint gathering information and trying to make the most of every lap. A lack of confidence in some areas prevented him from improving, but Iker was the second-best Honda in the classification despite the difficulties.

Today's Sprint has been difficult because I missed some feeling with the bike's front end. I kept pushing to understand every detail to do better tomorrow, as today we've struggled and didn't have enough pace. The Sunday race will be tough, but we'll try our best.

It wasn’t the Sprint I expected because it was tough to keep the pace; we missed something. I felt comfortable on the bike, but not enough to improve lap after lap. I tried to stay with the group to understand where we need to work ahead of tomorrow’s race.
