First Day on Indian Soil for Stefan Bradl
LCR Honda CASTROL replacement rider Stefan Bradl has completed Friday practices at the Buddh International Circuit, riding through the Indian turns for the first time.
Continuing his commitment to HRC and LCR, replacing Alex Rins, German rider Stefan Bradl has had the chance to study and analyze the Indian track, which consists of 13 turns (8 right-handed and five left-handed). Bradl and most riders have admitted it’s one of the most physically challenging while enjoyable at the same time. The #6 has provided the team with helpful feedback to take a step forward and prepare for the Sprint. The team and the rider have concluded that with a solid change of setup ahead of tomorrow, there is room for improvement.
Tough First Day for Takaaki Nakagami in India
LCR Honda IDEMITSU rider Takaaki Nakagami has completed the first day on Indian soil at the Buddh International Circuit.
The Japanese has experienced a tough first day throughout the lines and turns of the Buddh International Circuit. Being the first time in the Indian track, Nakagami had to learn and adapt to it. Indeed, he started Friday practices being on top5 and performing well. However, during the morning session, Nakagami crashed after losing the front: it was a severe impact, but the main thing is that the rider is fine without consequences.
In the afternoon, unluckily, at the last stages of the practice, he suffered another crash, which according to the data it was mainly because the rider was riding too fast at that moment (he's completely fine).
