Challenging Friday in Misano for Nakagami
LCR Honda IDEMITSU rider Takaaki Nakagami has ended 20th on Friday at the Misano World Circuit Marco Simoncelli.

The Japanese rider has pushed since the first exit of the morning, and throughout the sessions, he's been among the Top 12. However, a lack of confidence, especially with the bike's rear grip and on the first sector, has prevented him from doing better. He's finished 20th, and although he's noticed some positives on the bike, there is still much work to do to fight for a better position tomorrow.
LCR Honda CASTROL replacement rider Takumi Takahashi has completed his first day at Misano.
Friday practices in Misano have meant riding on a new layout and getting to know a new team for Suzuka 8-hours winner Takumi Takahashi, who is helping the LCR team this weekend, replacing injured Alex Rins. The Japanese rider has had the opportunity to learn from his rivals and the crew, reducing the gap as the laps went by. In the end, he's finished 24th.

I've felt good at some corners, but it's tough to stop the bike at the first sector and on the last corner. We need to fix the balance of the bike. Today, the feeling was better in the traction area than in the last races, so let's keep working and try to make the most of the current package.

It's been a challenging day as I'd never ridden in Misano. I've improved lap after lap, and despite the gap being considerable, the important is to keep learning and adapting to the bike and the team.
