The Honda Team Asia riders concluded the fourteenth race of the Moto3 World Championship at the Misano World Circuit Marco Simoncelli.

Furusato secured a 13th-place finish, while Buasri was unable to complete the race after a crash at Misano

Taiyo Furusato, who started from pole position and was battling for the victory in the early laps, unfortunately made a mistake that cost him several positions. A subsequent long-lap penalty ended his podium chances, and he ultimately finished in 13th place. Meanwhile, Tatchakorn Buasri, after a good start, was involved in a collision with another rider, resulting in a crash. Fortunately, Buasri was not injured, and both riders are ready to give their best in 7 days in Mandalika.

We've just concluded the Moto3 race. Yesterday was a fantastic day, but today was quite the opposite as things didn’t go as planned. Taiyo Furusato was fighting for a podium spot until midway through the race, but after a mistake, he lost contact with the lead group. A long-lap penalty further dropped him to 13th place. This result was far from what we anticipated, especially after starting from pole position.
As for Tatchakorn Buasri, his race was short after a crash in the first lap. Thankfully, he’s ok not injured. It wasn’t the outcome we were hoping for, and leaving Misano like this is tough. However, we must focus on improving for next week’s race in Mandalika.

I’m really disappointed with today’s race. We expected a much better result. I thought I’d be able to stay with the leading group, but from the start, I didn’t have a good feeling with the bike. This made it hard for me to perform at my best.
It’s frustrating to end the weekend this way, especially after such a positive start from the first day. I can’t be happy with the result, but we need to stay positive and keep working. I’ll speak with my team to analyze the mistakes so we can avoid repeating them in the next races. Hopefully, we’ll improve at the Indonesian GP.

Today was not a good day, to be honest. It started well; we made some adjustments to the bike, and during the warm-up, I felt confident. I managed to overtake some riders at the start of the race.
However, around Turn 10, I saw a group of riders battling, and as I tried to overtake from the outside, another rider collided with me, hitting my elbow and causing me to crash. The positive takeaway is that we’ve found a good setup for the bike. Hopefully, we can find our pace from day one at Mandalika and have a better result next week.
