Difficult Race for Furusato and Buasri at Assen

Furusato, who began the race with a strong start and was a contender for victory early on, made a mistake in the second half, causing him to lose positions and ultimately finish in 13th place. Meanwhile, Buasri battled to break into the Top 20 and secured a 20th place finish.

Both riders performed well in the race. Although the result was not the desired one, the race itself was good. Furusato contended fiercely for a podium finish, maintaining second position for a significant portion of the race and fighting for the lead. However, during a particularly challenging segment involving intense competition with other riders, he made a mistake on lap 15, losing his position and dropping to 13th place. Despite this setback, Furusato's performance was impressive and marked his best race of the season so far.

Meanwhile, Buasri competed robustly within the third group, maintaining his pace consistently until the end. Both riders showcased commendable skills, and we extend our gratitude to our staff, sponsors, and riders. We look forward to continuing our progress in the upcoming race at Sachsenring.

I am somewhat disappointed now, as a mistake I made cost us a promising result, ultimately leading to a 13th place finish. We were competitive throughout the race, contending for the win. However, an error on my part with five laps remaining caused us to lose the opportunity for a good result.

It’s sad because the weekend had been excellent up until those final laps. The team performed exceptionally well, and we executed a solid race. Nevertheless, we must acknowledge our mistakes, learn from them, and strive to avoid repeating them. There is no time to rest, as the next race is less than a week away. Our focus now shifts to get ready for Sachsenring.

Today we made significant improvements, and I am pleased with the increased confidence in my riding style and handling of the bike. However, I am bit disappointed with the race result, as I finished in P20. It’s a shame, as I had hoped to finish within the points zone, but I began to struggle midway through the race.

The second half of the race proved to be more challenging. Nonetheless, it was a good race overall, and we are making incremental progress. I am committed to competing for points and achieving a strong result next week at Sachsenring.
