Furusato Demonstrates His Strength on Qualifying Day at Mugello
Autodromo Internazionale del MugelloThe Honda Team Asia riders completed the qualifying session of the seventh round of the Moto3 World Championship at the Autódromo Internazionale del Mugello.
Taiyo Furusato made significant progress, securing the 8th position in qualifying and demonstrating a solid path. Meanwhile, rookie Tatchakorn Buasri also improved his lap time from yesterday and will start the race from the 25th position on the grid.

Today was a positive day for Moto3. Although there is always room for improvement, we made progress compared to yesterday. The day started off cooler in the morning, but fortunately, we experienced no rain during the final practice session and qualifying. Tatchakorn Buasri improved his lap time, securing the 25th position in qualifying, while Taiyo Furusato made significant strides and finished 8th in qualifying. Furusato's improvement from yesterday was substantial, positioning him to start from the third row tomorrow. We anticipate a highly competitive race, likely featuring a large group of contenders. We hope that Furusato be on the top group and that Tatchakorn can further enhance his performance and join the group that will fight for the points.

Honda Team Asia Today we made progress and saw some improvement. Although I wanted to be in the second row, the third row is acceptable, and we are heading in the right direction. The team worked very hard, and I can feel that the bike is improving with each session. We are on an upward trajectory that I hope continues into tomorrow's race. The sensations are better than at the previous Grand Prix. We do not have any penalties, so we can start the race without the extra pressure we experienced in Catalunya. Let's maintain the positive momentum we have built over the weekend and aim for the best possible race tomorrow at Mugello.

Now, it’s time to analyze with the entire team the results, to identify areas for enhancement and develop the best setup and strategy for tomorrow's race. Mugello typically features group races, so I aim to catch up with the riders ahead, close the gap, and join the group fighting for points. I will give everything that I have to try to bring a good result for the team.
