Taiyo and Mario can't finish off a good weekend at Mugello

Furusato crashed in the last corner when he was fighting for a place in the Top 10, while Aji couldn't show his speed at any moment on the Tuscan track, finishing in a discreet 20th position.

A fascinating race. Mario and Taiyo started well, winning positions at the beginning. Taiyo was in the top 4 in some moments, keeping an enjoyable fast lap time. He dropped to the second group in the middle of the race but fought until the end. He was riding eight in the last lap, doing one of the season's best races, but he couldn’t finish. It isn’t an excellent finish, but he showed us his speed.  Mario struggled with a bike that he felt was different from the rest of the weekend. It’s a pity he couldn't show us his potential at this moment. The end wasn’t what we wanted, but we showed we were there. Let’s see the next race.

I don’t know what to say…it’s a shame. I felt well in the first part of the race, but suddenly I struggled with the grip, both in front and rear. It was impossible to ride as I liked it. I want to refocus for the next race, trying to forget this disappointment. It isn’t the end of the world. I will keep working and pushing the two races we have before the summer break. The key is to continue learning and growing, and we will find the way.

During the weekend, I felt optimistic. I have improved my performance constantly. DNF isn’t the best result of a race, even less if it’s the second in a row. During the first laps of the race, I was in the front group, then I dropped to the second group, fighting until the last corner to be seventh. I tried to overtake the last corner, and I crashed. Maybe it wasn’t the best option. But overall, I’m happy for the weekend.
