Leopard Racing 1-2 in Moto3 Qualifying at Valencia
Adrian Fernandez to start final Moto3 race of the year from pole position

Honda’s Moto3 riders demonstrated good pace during their final qualifying sessions of the season at Valencia, with Leopard Racing topping the times and six riders securing places on the front three rows for tomorrow’s race.
The Leopard Racing duo of Adrian Fernandez and David Almansa have proved to be the pacesetters of the Valencia round so far, topping the times on Friday and leading the way in today’s Q2 session. It ultimately proved to be Fernandez who secured pole position, setting a new lap record in the process. Almansa will join him on the front row of the grid, after ending Q2 in second place.
There were also impressive performances from Luca Lunetta (SIC58 Squadra Corse) and Marco Morelli (GRYD – MLav Racing), who both secured places on the second row of the grid. Lunetta narrowly missed out on a front row start by 0.086 seconds, finishing in fourth place, while Morelli posted the fifth fastest time. Just behind them on the third row of the grid will be SIC58 Squadra Corse’s Stefano Nepa, who topped the earlier Q1 session, in seventh place and Taiyo Furusato (Honda Team Asia) in ninth.
Further back, the Rivacold Snipers Team pairing of Jesus Rios and Nicola Carraro will start tomorrow’s race from 16th and 20th places respectively, while Zen Mitani (Honda Team Asia) will line up in 24th and GRYD – MLav Racing’s Eddie O’Shea in 25th, after crashing out of Q1.
Tomorrow’s 20-lap Moto3 race at Circuit Ricardo Tormo, the final one of the 2025 season, will get underway at 11am local time.

I thought I did a really good lap but then I saw that my team-mate was able to go really fast. I then needed to find some more time to get a very good lap, which I did. I think I have a good feeling with the bike for tomorrow’s race, where I will do my best for a good result.
