Kelso secures top‑10 start in Austria
Joel Kelso of GRYD Racing finishes qualifying at the Red Bull Ring as the top Honda rider for the second consecutive round

In a challenging qualifying session for the 15th round of the Moto3 World Championship, Joel Kelso secured a seventh‑place starting position with a solid lap at the start of Q2.
Kelso’s teammate, Eddie O’Shea, delivered an impressive performance to advance from Q1 and will start from the middle of the fourth row in 11th position, courtesy of his final lap.
Both SIC58 Squadra Corse and Leopard Racing riders, Casey O’Gorman and Adrian Fernandez, will start tomorrow’s Austrian Grand Prix just behind O’Shea in 13th and 14th.
Guido Pini of Leopard Racing, like O’Shea, advanced from Q1 and will start 18th, with Leo Rammerstorfer of SIC58 Squadra Corse rounding out the top 20 places.
Further back, Honda Team Asia’s Zen Mitani will start 22nd, ahead of Rivacold Snipers Team riders Jesus Rios and Nicola Carraro in 24th and 26th respectively.
The 20‑lap race will begin at 10:00 local time.
