Ogura and Chantra Confident of Another Comeback in Qatar

The track conditions were much better today, allowing everybody to improve their lap times significantly. In the morning session, Ogura and Chantra rode fast. That gave us hope that we could achieve a suitable qualification. Unfortunately, in Q2, they spent too much time looking for his position on track to do a time attack. They missed the momentum, and when they tried to do the last lap, the session was red-flagged, and they couldn’t make it. They are disappointed, but we’re convinced they can recover their positions.

We made a step ahead today. In Q2, at the beginning, I couldn’t do everything satisfactorily in one lap; I made too many mistakes. I tried all the sessions, and finally, when it seemed possible, a red flag could have stopped the practices. The pace and the riding are there, but I missed a good grid position again. It wasn't as bad as the last two races, but it wasn’t good. Tomorrow, I hope I can make a good comeback.

In FP3, I tried to do a long run with the race tire. In Q2, I pushed from the beginning, but I made a mistake on one side, ruining my best lap. After I found many traffic, and finally a red flag. P13 isn’t what I expected, but I will do my best tomorrow, as usual.
