Ogura and Chantra are disappointed with their result in Catalunya

Our riders have been fighting during the 21 laps of the race. Both were confident before starting, but the wind direction changed, the condition changed, and we couldn’t make the race we expected, to be honest. We’re very disappointed about the result. Both riders scored some positive points. We’re not satisfied at all; we want to be better. Next weekend, we have another race to climb up. 

From Friday morning, I had an excellent feeling with the bike until the race. Today, it wasn’t so bad, but in the end, I couldn’t follow the top guys. The pace was similar in the middle of the race, but I lost too many positions and too much time in the beginning. That cost me to get away from the top group. I’m not happy about my Sunday; it could be much better. We should keep working to catch them for the next races. Hopefully, we will do better in the next races, especially on the Asian rounds. 

I started well in the race but fought with other riders in the first laps. These fights and some mistakes on my side made me lose contact with the top group. This result ends a tough weekend, very hard for me. We will analyze what happened to prevent repeating it in Misano.
