Chantra signs his best race of the year at Sachsenring

A tough race under hot conditions here in Germany. Chantra started well, maintaining an excellent and stable pace. He was close to the podium, but the important thing is that he managed to finish the race brilliantly. Ogura lost time on the first corner when two riders collided before him. He recovered his position and did his best today. He’s still struggling, but I hope he will regain his spirit in the next races. I want to thank all the staff, who made a great effort to give the riders the best bike possible.

I’m happy about my best result here in Germany, a historically challenging circuit. At the beginning of the race, I tried to follow the top group, but the guys were so fast today. Also, they managed the tires better than me. From the middle of the race until the end, I tried to ride smoothly to finish in the fourth position with a good lap time.

The feeling about the race was positive. The position and the lap time aren’t enough, but we have taken a step from Mugello. We are optimistic about this but still need a few tenths to reach the top. We keep working.
