Chantra is close to the front row, Ogura improves but not enough

Just a tenth of a second separated Somkiat from third place on the grid, which gives him high hopes for a brilliant result in Sachsenring tomorrow. Ogura has improved his lap times, but the differences on this circuit are minimal, and he will start from a late 20th position tomorrow.

Chantra did an excellent qualifying session from Q1 to Q2, improving his best lap time to score 24,2. He was close to being on the first row, with a tiny difference from the other riders. He will start tomorrow from the seventh. On the other hand, Ogura couldn’t jump up from Q1 and will start tomorrow from P20. I hope he can improve in the race. The race is long, 25 laps; let’s see which position they can reach tomorrow.

In FP3, it started to rain; then, I lost the option to enter directly into Q2. In Q1, in dry conditions, we set the bike with the only information we had from FP1. This setting worked well, and I gained a place in Q2. I initially tried to do a time attack, achieving an excellent seventh position for tomorrow’s race.

It was wet in the morning, and we did some laps because I still needed more experience in this condition. The qualifying was much better than yesterday, but it wasn’t enough. We keep working for tomorrow to give my maximum all the laps.
