Hailing from America, Marco Andretti is a third-generation driver from the Andretti family, a name etched in the history of motorsport. He inherits a legendary lineage, with Mario Andretti as his grandfather and team owner Michael Andretti as his father.
In 2005, he demonstrated extraordinary speed even before his major debut, securing three wins and three pole positions despite only competing part-time in the Indy Pro Series.
Upon starting full-time competition in the INDYCAR SERIES in 2006, he immediately showcased his talent. In the INDY500, he fought an intense battle for the lead right down to the final lap. That same year, he claimed his first series victory and earned Rookie of the Year honors for both the INDY500 and the INDYCAR SERIES.
Parallel to his INDYCAR SERIES career, he has built a wealth of experience across various international categories, including the American Le Mans Series, A1GP, the 24 Hours of Le Mans, and Formula E. After many years of gracing the series, he announced his retirement at the conclusion of the 2025 season.
