The Misano World Circuit – Marco Simoncelli held the sixth round of the FIM JuniorGP this Saturday, coinciding with the San Marino MotoGP event. Asia Talent Team riders Tatchakorn Buasri and Fadillah Arbi Aditama finished their race in 8th and 15th, respectively.
The Thai rider made a very good start from 18th, quickly catching up with the front group. As the laps passed, Buasri became caught up in a battle fight with other riders and felt the pain on his finger due to a crash this morning in the warm-up, which made it difficult for him to fight for the Top 5. Finally, he would defend his position within the Top 10, and took the chequered flag eighth.
Arbi Aditama also made a comeback through the field in his first time at Misano. Taking off from 21st, the Indonesian gained several positions at the start, moving into the points on the first lap. Running a consistent pace throughout the race, amidst many overtaking moves, Aditama managed to score another point.
Buasri is now 7th in the championship, with 73 points, while Aditama is 26th, with 5 points.
FIM JuniorGP will celebrate its seventh and penultimate round on October 9th, at the Motorland Aragón circuit, with a single race for the Asia Talent Team riders.
