The Thai rider made a very good start from 18th, quickly catching up with the front group. As the laps passed, Buasri became caught up in a battle fight with other riders and felt the pain on his finger due to a crash this morning in the warm-up, which made it difficult for him to fight for the Top 5. Finally, he would defend his position within the Top 10, and took the chequered flag eighth.

Arbi Aditama also made a comeback through the field in his first time at Misano. Taking off from 21st, the Indonesian gained several positions at the start, moving into the points on the first lap. Running a consistent pace throughout the race, amidst many overtaking moves, Aditama managed to score another point.

Buasri is now 7th in the championship, with 73 points, while Aditama is 26th, with 5 points.

FIM JuniorGP will celebrate its seventh and penultimate round on October 9th, at the Motorland Aragón circuit, with a single race for the Asia Talent Team riders.

It's been a difficult weekend. We only had one Free Practice, and yesterday in the qualifying sessions I didn't feel very comfortable or confident on the bike, after a month without racing. Nevertheless, today I managed to recover very well. Despite falling in the warmup and hurting my finger a little, I found that feeling that we lacked yesterday. In the race, after a good start, I was able to push on the first few laps. Later on, when I had some pain, I was able to hold on until I finished eighth. Although it could be better, I leave Misano with positive feelings.

I'm happy with how the weekend ended. Yesterday, in QP, I made several mistakes that didn't allow me to set a good time. However in the race, thanks to a good start, I got into the points quickly, and stayed there. I think I could have done more if I hadn't been exchanging positions with other riders from the beginning, but after so long without getting on the bike, finishing in points, which was the goal, is positive for me.
