RACERS: Honda Motorcycle Racing Machines Chronicle – 1979 NR500 (Part 2) Now Available

The special feature series " RACERS: Honda Motorcycle Racing Machines Chronicle," which highlights some of the most memorable and groundbreaking racing machines created by HRC throughout its history, is now available on the official Honda website.

In this fifth installment, "1979 NR500 (Part 2)," we take a closer look at the evolution of the NR500, from the NR2, which adopted an outsourced frame, to the NR3, which claimed victory in the Suzuka 200km Race, and finally the NR4, the last model that never got the chance to compete in a race.

The feature explores the development story behind the NR500 and Honda’s relentless challenge of taking on the dominant two-stroke competitors with an innovative four-stroke machine.
