In 2016, Marceli competed in the Trial2 class of the FIM Trial World Championship as a member of the Montesa Talent Team, winning the Trial2 class championship in 2019. In 2020, he moved up to and is competing in the premier Outdoor (TrialGP) and Indoor (X-Trial) championships, and has steadily accumulated achievements each year.
After Takahisa Fujinami’s retirement in 2022, Marcelli joined the Repsol Honda HRC as Toni Bou’s stablemate. In 2023, he finished the season 3rd in both TrialGP and X-Trial championships, and in the recent season, he was 2nd in the TrialGP championship and 3rd in the X-Trial championship.
With the renewal of his contract, Marcelli will be teammates with Toni Bou (age: 38, Spain), who announced his contract renewal last year, to compete in the World Championships together until 2027.
