HRC to supply parts for the rally competition motorcycle “CRF450RX RALLY"

Honda Racing Corporation (HRC) has announced that it will begin supplying kit parts for rally machines competing in the Rally Raid Championship, including the Dakar Rally.

Starting February 17, Honda Racing Corporation (HRC) will begin supplying kit parts for the CRF450RX, which will compete in the Rally Raid Championship, including the Dakar Rally. The kit parts will be supplied by HRC to RedMoto, an Italian company which specialises in the distribution of Honda Off-Road motorcycles and related products. Once assembled by RedMoto, the machine will be sold as the competition-only "CRF450RX RALLY."

In the 2025 Dakar Rally, six riders used kit parts supplied to RS Moto on a trial basis. Based on this track record, HRC decided to supply kit parts and selected Red Moto, which has a proven track record in European off-road racing, as its partner for supplying kit parts.

RedMoto will manufacture and sell the CRF450RX RALLY using HRC kit parts that have become more competitive through the 2025 Dakar Rally. In preparation for the Morocco Rally in October this year, we will expand the opportunities to provide vehicles equipped with HRC kit parts to more riders.

In addition, in order to establish a service system for riders participating in the rally, we have begun considering collaboration with leading rally teams and will support riders in both hardware and software.

■Development Aims

Based on the development concept of "a vehicle that can deliver high performance in the world's toughest rally race, and that aims to help riders from privateers to top riders to finish the race together," development was focused on achieving both high fighting power and durability in every aspect.

Frame: High-level balance of stability and agility

The lightweight, high-rigidity aluminum frame based on a motocross bike ensures

Engine： Smooth characteristics from low to high speeds/6-speed gear

A wide-ratio 6-speed is used to accommodate a wide range of vehicle speeds.

By reducing the engine RPMs during high-speed cruising, durability and fuel economy

are improved.

Tower： Durable, highly visible construction

The tower-related parts, which have a major impact on the lightness of the body, are

made of lightweight, high-strength CFRP, which makes for a light ride and provides

sufficient toughness against damage in the event of a fall.

In addition, the angle of the electric road book holder can be changed, allowing the

rider to adjust the electric road book to their preferred position.

Suspension: ability to run on any surface

The spring rate has been changed to allow for custom damper settings. The FR slide pipe and rear cushion rod are titanium coated to reduce friction.
