Tommy returns to race for Honda Racing UK in 2025 following an incredible 2024 campaign where he lost the title by just a single point to finish as the series runner-up. In his debut year racing for the team on brand new machinery he secured a staggering nineteen visits to the rostrum including a superb three victories.
Joining Honda after achieving his lifetime ambition of championship glory, Tommy aimed to become the first rider in the series history to win back-to-back championships with different manufacturers. In the first year with the then brand new 2024 Fireblade, he secured an impressive three race wins; thirteen second place finishes and a further three thirds. In doing so he achieved more podiums than any other rider that season. Taking the championship fight to the final race of the season, in what will go down as one of the best races in the series history, Tommy ultimately finished second in the championship standings by a single point. In 2025 he is determined to regain the number one plate and become a two-time British Superbike champion.
