Taiyo Furusato, who had consistently shown strong form, encountered bad luck in Q2; just as he was set to deliver his fastest lap, a yellow flag forced the cancellation of his time, meaning he’ll start tomorrow’s race from 17th. Tatchakorn Buasri struggled to find his rhythm, ending the session in 24th position.

Today was a challenging qualifying day for us. Taiyo Furusato rode well, managing his lap time solo and performing consistently throughout the sessions. Although he set a strong lap time at the end, it was unfortunately canceled due to a yellow flag, leaving him to start from 17th on the grid. It was an unlucky situation that doesn’t reflect his true potential. Tatchakorn Buasri finished 24th; he needs to refine his riding style to reach a more competitive level. The bike setup was generally good, but he struggled with his performance in the afternoon. I believe that tomorrow we can gain positions in the race, as we have the pace and speed to make progress. Furusato is ready to fight tomorrow, and his position doesn’t truly represent his capability. I’m confident both riders will give their maximum effort and deliver a strong performance in the race.

Honda Team Asia It’s frustrating to see all our hard work over the past two days go unrewarded due to a yellow flag. We’ve put in a lot of effort, and the bike setup is good; I feel comfortable on this track. It’s disappointing, but there’s nothing we can change now, so our focus is on tomorrow, and there’s no time to lose. We have a strong pace, and I’ve been able to ride alone for most of the sessions, so I’m ready to fight in the race. I hope to make a good start and close the gap with the riders ahead. I’ll give my all to secure a strong result here in Sepang.

Honda Team Asia Today was tough for me. I didn’t perform well, and although we made adjustments from yesterday and tried to close the gap with the riders in front, we couldn’t achieve the result we wanted. Qualifying 1 was similar, and I’m disappointed, but I can’t give up. It’s time to analyze my weak points with the team, work on improvements, and aim for the best start possible in tomorrow’s race to push towards the points zone.
