Taiyo and Mario survive a tough day in the rain

Furusato made it through to Q2 under challenging conditions. Both will start tomorrow's race with the unknown of the dry setting, as they have not had the chance to test the solutions to the chattering problems suffered yesterday on the dry tarmac.

A wet qualifying session after a dry practice yesterday. Completely different conditions in which our riders have improved their positions. I'm sure they had space to improve more in wet conditions. Taiyo had a crash, but fortunately, he's ok. In any case, we have a correct grid position. I suppose the race will be in dry conditions, and we must adapt it to that.

I've been in the Q2, which was unexpected on our side because I usually struggle a lot in wet conditions. The race, it seems, will be in dry conditions, and we're worried about that because yesterday we struggled a lot with the front, and we don't know if it was because of the tires or balance. Tomorrow we will try a setup, but in blind, because without a warmup, we will go directly to the race without any information about whether it works.

In FP3, it was a lot of water on the track, a condition where I usually feel comfortable. In the last two laps, I tried to improve my lap time, pushing more but looking at the tricky conditions of the last two corners, I preferred to maintain my confidence for the Q1 than a crash. In Q1, there was less water in the track, and I felt good, but I needed to take more risks. The important is to be confident and motivated for tomorrow. The most difficult now is deciding the tire for the race, expecting it to be dry.
