Furusato will head the fifth row and is confident he has the pace to be in the leading group. Aji will start 24th, so a good start and gaining as many positions as possible at the beginning of the race will be essential for a good result.

The grid position of our riders isn’t optimal for us; we must make a good star trying to stay in the first group. That is the key point, especially for Mario, because he can be faster inside the group. It isn’t an easy track for him, but we believe he and Taiyo can improve in the race.

The day didn’t start well because I wanted to be directly on Q2. Despite this disappointment, I did a good Q1, doing all the laps alone and making the lap time in Q2. We expect a little bit more than this 13th position. I think there will be two big groups during the race, and I hope to be in the first.

We stepped ahead this morning during the P3, feeling better with the bike while riding. We changed the gear ratio that was too short yesterday, allowing me to carry speed easily in the fast corners. But in Q1, I lost momentum when I was fast, and other riders stopped me. We saw that I made a big mistake in Turn 1. But the important thing is that I feel good on the bike, to push all the laps of the race.
