Chantra confirms consistency while Ogura suffers at Mugello

The Thai rider is one of three Moto2 riders who scored points in the six races after finishing ninth in Italy. Meanwhile, the lack of grip due to the high temperatures affected Ogura's performance, which could only finish 15th.

This weekend's hot conditions affected our riders' performance, especially Ogura when the grip dropped. Chantra finally has managed to finish on Top 10. This track never was easy for him, but he did a fantastic race. About Ogura, we can imagen that the race wasn't easy for him. He struggled more than yesterday, managing to finish the race but not in the position he and we wanted. We must focus on next week, trying to improve and show what we can do.

Starting from P17 on the grid, I made an excellent start to the race, gaining some crucial positions. I tried to focus and concentrate, riding smoothly and avoiding mistakes because my rear tire dropped. I'm happy about this P9, scoring point again, and in a circuit where historically I have had problems being fast.

I did a good start, gaining positions on the first corner. But, after that, I struggled to keep the pace. In some parts of the track, I was slow, and that cost me to get far away from the group. Ultimately, I struggled with the front tire, and it was impossible to keep my pace. In the last lap, many riders overtook me. Until the qualifying session, we could do something in one lap, but not in 20 laps.
