Tomorrow starts the big challenge, the 2024 season kicks off in Qatar

It was an eventful day at the Lusail Circuit for the Moto2 riders. During the Practice 2 in the morning, both Chantra and Aji achieved impressive results, and their overall feeling with the bike was positive. However, despite their strong performance in practice, they were unable to replicate it in the afternoon Qualifying session. Consequently, they will begin the first race of the year from the 5th and 10th rows respectively.

Today was different compared to yesterday. It was a bit drier on the track, which meant we had less grip. Both riders struggled a bit during qualifying to find the grip they needed. The good news is that they have a good pace for the race tomorrow. It's going to be a challenging night race, but we're working hard, and I hope to see the team's efforts pay off with good results.

I faced some difficulties with the soft tire during qualifying. It was unexpected, especially considering that everything went smoothly during the morning practice session. After just two laps in qualifying, I didn't feel confident enough. We analyzed what happened and discussed our strategy for tomorrow. I'm determined to fight for great things in this first race.

Today, the track was drier than yesterday, and the weather was different, which made it harder to get good grip. But I'm looking forward to tomorrow's race because it'll give me more time on the bike. I missed the test, so I need to get more comfortable, but I'm already feeling better.
