Chantra finished 7th in a race to forget for Ogura

The Moto2 race in Mandalika did not meet the team's expectations after the success in Japan. Chantra suffered severely in some sections of the track, while Ogura confessed that this was one of the worst races of his life. It's time to get back on track and start thinking about Australia.

Ogura started from P19, and on the first lap, he dropped to P21. From this point, he struggled to get his rhythm. He has an issue with Salac being penalized with a long lap. It wasn't a good day for him. Chantra managed to fight for the podium at the beginning of the race. But as well as many others, he was struggling with the temperature of the tarmac and couldn't have the same pace as yesterday. Our expectations were high because we are in a track where we won last year, coming from a 1-2 in Japan. Finishing seventh wasn't bad, but compared to our expectations, it gave us a strange feeling. Both riders and staff did their best in a challenging weekend. I can only thank the effort they've made. We must change our minds to go ahead to Australia.

I started in fifth place and moved to third after a good break at the first corner. From there, I've been fighting to be in front as much as possible. But I was so slow in sector two, losing the gap with my rivals. In any case, I'm happy to have finished the race in these challenging conditions and scored points again. See you in Australia!

I started from the back of the grid, riding in the middle of the group where it was difficult to overtake as I wanted. I got stuck a bit, and from there, I tried to go but couldn't regain my rhythm. There was a bad race, one of the worst races in my life.
